Homework for

Digital Coloring Class.

As far as I can tell, this is the final stage we are to do. I'm happy with how it turned out. Hope the teach agrees.

You used watercolors for the background, didn't you? It's well well done and all but it doesn't stand out much seems a little out of place with your character having darken colors and outlined than the background.
I Love the detail, in the background along with the use of space, but your character has flat color, the shades and light aren't mixed like in your background, I think this is another reason it looks so off.
The character is well drawn, has a sweet calm expression and the his stance doesn't look tense at all!

Along with the background as I mentioned before just not so much together

I always think it's a real accomplishment when an artist can find and develop his or her own style, as is clearly evident in this appealing character. Nice work.
